Title
Mummy, what is a ‘title’?”

Come & Go、Bring & Take
Charlotte:
Where are you going, Mum?
Me: I’m
going to Auckland.
C: Oh, can
I come?
Me: OK but
ask your Dad first.
C: Dad, can
I go to Auckland with Mum?
Aaron: Are
you going to Auckland, Katsue? And is Charlotte coming with you?
Me: Yes,
I’m going with Charlotte. Do you want to come?
Aaron: No.
I’d better stay here to generate some income.
Jasmine:
Can I borrow your pen, Mum?
I want to use it at school.
Me: OK, you
can take it but don’t forget to bring it back!
Honey, would you please bring it
upstairs?”
A little
boy went up to his father and asked: “Dad, where did all of my intelligence
come from?” The father replied: “Well, son, you must have got it from your
mother, because I still have mine.”
